Norway - Sogn og Fjordane

At the top of the gorge, above the falls, there is an unusual rock formation called Jutlamannen. The local legend has it that the king, Sankt Olay, rode passed here in 1023 and his horse lost a shoe. Two trolls laughed and as punishment he turned them to stone. Jutlamannen's wife fell in the1800s but Jutlamannen remains.
